About Us

Community

This site was created to foster a community within the NICU experience. As a NICU nurse, I understand how isolating certain periods of your life can be & this site is designed to make that a lil easier. ♥

Helpful Tips

This site is filled with helpful tips to understand and remember certain diagnoses - whether you're a parent trying to teach a sibling or simply understand, a family member trying to help or a new nurse trying to learn, this site was designed to help. ♡

Endless Stories

Our blog is filled with experiences and stories depicting the ins & outs of working in a hospital and what its like being a nurse or a parent within the hospital walls. Please let us know if you know someone who'd like to write in or you'd like to write in yourself! ♥

Gratitude

If you want to donate or help some of our mommas in need or nurses who are feeling a lil down or unappreciated please support in any way you can - we're grateful for your support either way. ♡

About the Creator: Kirsten

Hii ♡ My name is Kirsten & I'm a NICU nurse from the Midwest. I have a 7 year old yellow lab named Finley, I love nature & mother Gaia & I think the key to life is romanticizing it. I've been in the NICU now for about 5 years & for the past three have been on the West Coast. I love caring for the tiniest, purest souls and will always have a special place in my heart for NICU babies and their mommas. My sister was in the NICU for a bit and later was found to have Cerebral Palsy. Watching my sister overcome every obstacle and own the beauty of her life & her disability and watching my mom help her tackle each hurdle with ease I realized how lucky I was to be surrounded by such strong, incredible women. I struggle with anxiety and depression often and I'm beyond grateful to have strong women in my corner who lift me up and hold me high until I'm strong enough to hold myself up again. I'm creating this site to try and provide a similar support to others & help create a means of connection between women all over. ♡

Here to make the NICU world a lil softer and a bit more ~aesthetically pleasing~
